Me, a Drum and Devils TowerMy heart was pounding, as we weaved through the vast stretches of Wyoming to our destination. Then, off in the distance, it stood. Even far off and tiny, it seemed to loom over the surroundings. I had always wanted to see the "American West," but never thought I would see Devils Tower, there I was my drum in hand, my friend and travel partner by my side.
Located in Crook County, Wyoming, Devils Tower is a large geological deposit of igneous material, (aka cooled magma) and America's first National Monument that rises 867 feet above Wyoming's rolling prairies. It monolithically protrudes from the earth, a feature that gave rise (pun intended) to many legends and much public fascination. Many people know this natural formation from Steven Spielberg's famous 1977 film, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," in which an alien ship descends upon the tower making "first" contact on the top of Devils Tower's summit. VENUSTRAPHOBIA: FEAR OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN
Beauty can be overwhelming. Studies show that a lot of men tend to put off from dating a beautiful girl and may actually feel traumatized. While some of you out there are just nervous, some may be actually having this bizarre phobia called Venustraphobia or Caligynephobia. Imagine someone getting petrified upon the sight of a pretty girl. Ouch! It hurts to be pretty. AUROPHOBIA: FEAR OF FINDING GOLD
If the dread of beauty was not enough, people could get scared of even more unimaginable stuff. One such unusual fear is of finding gold or everything made of gold. It has been guessed that people suffer from Aurophobia after a gold-related shock. Wondering how can gold be causing any kind of trauma? Even we are. CHROMETOPHOBIA: FEAR OF MONEY
While the world is ran by money, some people run away from money instead. Such odd kind of dread of having money is called Chrometophobia. People having Chrometophobia are very defenseless to losing and mishandling money. Wish on the wishing well that you find one such chrometophobic. PAPAPHOBIA: FEAR OF THE POPE
An unbelievable amount of people actually fear the Pope. Yes, there are people having Papaphobia who are terrified of the pope and other saints as well. These people probably have a hard time going to Churches. NOMOPHOBIA: FEAR OF BEING WITHOUT CELLPHONES

Whales are large, intelligent, aquatic mammals. Classified into two major categories, of the 80 known types of whales, or Cetacea, the groups, are known as toothed whales and baleen whales. Baleen is a filter-feeder system inside the mouths of baleen whales. These magnificent marine mammals rule the oceans at up to 100 feet long and upwards of 200 tons. Their tongues alone can weigh as much as an elephant. Their hearts, as much as an automobile.
Just like humans they breathe air, carry and mother live-born offspring but did you know that molecular data and research done by Paleontologists indicates that all whales lived on land, migrating to the sea over 50 million years ago. What is even more fascinating is that whales evolved the "spindle cells" associated with self-awareness, compassion, and linguistic expression in their brain some 15 million years before humans. Believe It or Not: The NoiseWritten by Andrew Hrehorovich
As the founder of the Inventors Guild of the Poconos, it's my
job to figure things out. The Pocono Inventors Guild is a public platform where budding new innovators can find contacts to help with business planning, designing, manufacturing, and protect their intellectual property with patents. So when we heard of a worldwide recurring strange sound which sometimes repeats for hours, even throughout the night, we were, to say the least, intrigued. Dubbed "The Noise," by the thousands of youtube followers that are looking up the recorded phenomenon clips daily this strange trumpeting sound is loud, comes without warning, and covers large tracts of land. If in the vicinity where the noise generates you have no choice but to listen and those who have heard it are at a loss as to the cause. Even local police departments, local fire departments, and the military do not have an explanation. The cause of this noise up to this point has remained a mystery. Until now. The Inventors Guild has solved the problem after two months of rigorous study. The booms are definitely unrelated to earthquakes. We believe, however, that "The Noise" is the result of a natural occurrence by the earth. As a matter of fact, we think the planet is doing something quite natural. It is expelling "trapped gas," and in doing so, it is creating a loud noise. Bluntly, the earth is mimicking what can, in the wrong situations, be an embarrassing function of the human body. The Proof! Now all this may seem comical at first but take into considerations, for instance, five gallons of CO2 is produced over time to a single gallon of H2O (water) and stored with other gases in limestone, basalt, sandstone, and conglomerate. At the bottom of lakes are "tight zones" with trapped gasses being released at unknown times, creating noise until trapped gas is "played out." Just like gas in a champagne bottle. Throughout the world from time to time, unscented gas has killed within minutes. One such escape of gas took place in Africa in 1985 in the Cameroons, Lake Nyos, where 1,800 people and 3,500 head of livestock died within minutes over a stretch of land several miles in length. And there are other documented examples of gas escapes in Africa and other parts of the world, including right here in the United States. Those who look for a harbinger of the end times often refer to the sky trumpets as “trumpets of the apocalypse.” It is indeed a dangerous situation when gas escapes suddenly, but only scary when it does not kill. Over the next decade, this stress will become extremely pressurized with water (H2O) producing "The Noise" more often and with an increase in the by-product of deadly gas buildup. The tipping point, according to the Inventors Guild of the Poconos, was 2015. We now are predicting a dramatic rise of "The Noise," more deadly gases, and more possible deaths around the world. Fortunately, the Inventors Guild might possibly have a remedy and a patented approach for releasing the trapped gas which is in the form of CO2 (carbon dioxide), methane. We are diligently working towards a solution and have gained headway into science explaining this phenomenon and answers to this very natural, but potentially dangerous occurrence. Split-Rock at Tasman Bay, New Zealand
This weird-looking rock formation located off the northern coast of the South Island of New Zealand in the Tasman Bay is made of granite and looks suspiciously like an apple cut into two. Because of the rocks odd shape, it is a big tourist draw – you can boat out to get a closer look, but the exact explanation for why it is split is unknown. |

For years I have known about the ancient spiritual tool called the Enneagram, but it
is not until recently I have come to understand the importance of the information it offers. According to Wikipedia the Enneagram of Personality, or just the Enneagram, is a nine-pointed geometric system which describes the universally understood human psyche taught as general personality types according to psychology, or the social sciences. By following your primary Enneagram personality type, your natural gifts are fully appreciated, and self-made limitations finally understood. READ MORE... |

Chocolate Hills of Bohol Island, the PhilippinesBohol’s 1700-odd conical hills dot the middle of the island; they range in height but are so regular in shape that they could be mistaken for being human-made. However, according to UNESCO, they are the uplift of coral deposits and a result of rainwater erosion. The hills only earn their 'chocolate' nickname in the dry season when the foliage goes from lush green to brown. with all the most important information in the first paragraph or two. If the less vital details are pushed towards the end of the story, then the potentially destructive impact of draconian copy editing will be minimized.
